Today was one of those days I wish I had perfect skin and a personal stylist so I could be out of the house and off to school without the usual morning madness. Despite slapping on come concealer and a few coats of mascara, there's a baffling beauty in how a pair of sunglasses can instantly make you feel ten times more confident about yourself. I purchased these bad boys at work yesterday after one too many longing stares from behind the counter. Thank god for staff discounts. I mean, who could resist a little 1950's glamour with that classic patent finish? They make me feel like Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly all at once. I thought stacking chains would bring out the metal accents of the sunglasses, but its also part of my obsessive compulsiveness to have all my jewelry within the same colour scheme. 

The rest of today's ensemble was pretty "grab and go" because time is never on my side when school starts at 830. I've been rather into the androgynous slouchy look lately. Throwing on an oversized tshirt, the first girly thing I see and my trusty sneakers usually works, so I'm not complaining. 

Oh, and Timmy decided to make a guest appearance. I'm afraid the photos don't convey how unbelievably soft he is in reality, but I hope his multi-coloured face puts a smile on yours.
